I had the honor of accompanying Logan on his first pre-school field trip to Blake’s. If you live in the Metro Detroit area I am sure you have heard of it. But for all of my friends who don’t live in the area, Blake’s is a cider mill and orchard. Logan’s cousin, Connor, is also in his pre-school class, so he will be profiled in some of these pictures. First, we had to do our photo ops. I am sure we will be back next year to see how tall he is 🙂
Next it was time for Logan to have his first taste of Michigan cider and donuts.
It was then time for the “train” ride out to the orchard to go pumpkin picking and apple picking.
Then it was time to play. There were animals to pet, trains to conduct and things to bounce on.
If you have children and need something to do, I suggest taking them to Blake’s for the day. The play area is around $10 per person, but it is worth it. I hear weekends are busy, but during the week it was not crowded at all.
